Interior Designer

Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and experienced Interior Designer to transform restaurant and commercial spaces into exceptional dining and hospitality experiences. You will develop complete interior concepts that reflect brand identity, enhance customer experience, and meet operational requirements. Your expertise in materials selection, space planning, color theory, and contemporary design trends will shape the visual identity of our projects across the Several Positions Open Across Canada and USA and North America.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop complete interior design concepts aligned with restaurant brand identity, target market, and operational needs
- Create material and finish selections including flooring, wall treatments, paint colors, and millwork specifications
- Select and specify furniture, lighting fixtures, and decorative elements within budget parameters
- Prepare detailed interior design drawings, finish schedules, and material specifications for construction documents
- Develop 3D renderings and presentations to communicate design vision to clients and stakeholders
- Coordinate with architects and contractors regarding interior design integration and constructability
- Research and specify sustainable and eco-friendly interior materials and finishes
- Manage interior design budgets and track material costs to ensure project profitability
- Review interior finishes samples, submittals, and shop drawings for quality and compliance
- Conduct site visits during construction and finish phases to monitor design implementation
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Interior Design or related field from an accredited program; IIDA or NCIDQ certification preferred
- 6+ years of commercial interior design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating completed restaurant or hospitality projects
- Proficiency with design software including AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong knowledge of interior materials, finishes, and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) sourcing
- Excellent visualization and presentation skills, both verbal and visual
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive restaurant, QSR, or hospitality interior design experience
- Knowledge of commercial kitchen design principles and food service space planning
- Experience with sustainable/LEED interior design practices
- Proficiency with Revit and BIM workflows
