Construction Manager

Job Summary

We seek an experienced Construction Manager to coordinate all construction phases and manage daily operations on restaurant and commercial projects. Your expertise in scheduling, stakeholder communication, and operational coordination will ensure projects meet quality, schedule, and budget objectives. You will manage the interface between design and construction, coordinate inspections and approvals, and maintain detailed project documentation to support successful delivery across the Several Positions Open Across Canada and USA and North America.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all construction phases from pre-construction planning through project closeout
  • Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules with critical path analysis and milestone tracking
  • Manage daily on-site operations including work sequencing and progress reporting
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project owner on design clarifications and approvals
  • Schedule and coordinate inspections including municipal, code officials, and owner inspections
  • Manage RFI (Request for Information) process and coordinate design responses
  • Track and process submittals, shop drawings, and equipment approvals
  • Monitor project budget and forecast final costs with change order management
  • Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and status updates for ownership and stakeholders
  • Maintain comprehensive as-built documentation and project closeout records

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of construction management or project coordination experience in commercial construction
  • Expert knowledge of construction scheduling, critical path methodology, and Gantt charting
  • Proficiency with construction management software and scheduling tools (Primavera, Microsoft Project)
  • Strong knowledge of construction documents, specifications, and industry standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication for stakeholder coordination

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive restaurant, QSR, or food service construction management experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or DBIA certification
  • Experience with design-build or fast-track delivery methods
  • Familiarity with BIM coordination and 3D scheduling
